Arbitrary authority of M.C.S.P.

Mcsp is normally governed by active “Bangladesh Army” members. Many are fascinated by the fact. It has its pros and cons. As it is run by army many of the rules are strict, students get a quick start in becoming an army officer (!!!). But, have any of you thought what effect it puts on the academic site because of this army ruling?
Correct me if I am wrong, but at my three years stay in mcsp occasionally I found a qualified, well educated army officer. Truly, many of the officers didn’t seem to posses’ true education. Just a bunch of muscular people who made it pass through series of tests. I have seen only a handful officers working in mcsp, to actually think about students education. Oh sure mcsp has made fabulous board results (S.S.C., H.S.C.) over past years. Like, come on. I have appeared my S.S.C. from mcsp my friends are going to appear H.S.C. from mcsp and i know exactly what happened and what is going to happen. I know the methods they use for educating the students over there and I have seen the methods teachers use in rest of the colleges. I have my friends studying in different colleges all over the country. In many cases they have the resources but they don’t use it or supply it to the students. I have heard that my friends in mcsk are not getting enough time to study. They (we) have only three months to prepare ourselves for hsc 2010. They asked for more study time and authority changed their morning P.T. time into morning preparatory hour. Now they have enough time to study but not enough time to take rest. Even in the afternoon students are forced to play games and attend all mcsp formality. You have no idea how much time does such kind of formalities consume. It is tiring, disgusting and last but not the least unnecessary.

One thing is for sure. Mcsp seem like a station to army officers. They just come and go; In and out before you actually get to know them. In my three years of stay, i have seen three principal, and number of adjutants. Each of them change the old rules and impose their taste upon the students. With such changing weather I don’t know how this particular institution will attain stability and shine.

I assume this thought of mine has struck the authority in the past. A large portion of power was shift to a civilian teacher of mcsp. He ended up with the blame of forgery of accounts and consuming a large sum of money illegally. To preserve his dignity and thus mcsp, he was immediately released from his extra duty without any official announcements to anybody. This fact is known to very few. And hence the instability in power still exists to the very day.

I can cite an example of clumsiness and unthoughtful commands issued by the ruling officers. When attending a formal function students need to maintain a particular dress code. At first they would tell to wear white half pant and shirt. Than 15 minutes before the event starts, realizing that it is a formal event they will tell us to wear full pants. When we are almost done changing, some word boy would rush in and say to wear black pants, white shirt with tie. Than 2 minutes before the event is scheduled to start, they will tell us to change and wear the other tie. Pathetic in one word.
I didn’t leave M.C.S.P. for nothing. I had several reasons to leave M.C.S.P. and set out sail for a new destination. At the time I withdrew my transfer certificate from M.C.S.P. I was uncertain of my future. I had no idea I will study next. But I surely knew it will be far lot better to sit idle than to study in M.C.S.P.. Now my fellow friends support my decision of leaving M.C.S.P.. I’m not alone though. Few friends of mine also left M.C.S.P. after a lot of thinking, after I withdrew my transfer certificate. They knew what was coming. Mind it these people were very much valuable to M.C.S.P.. Ask them. They will lie and you will know about it.

MCSP >> MCSK ? WHY NOW ?

1) Military Collegiate School Phultala, Khulna.
2) Military Collegiate School, Khulna.

Which one sounds better? Well definitely the second one. I kind of love it. Including Phultala wasn’t “cool”. So I welcome the idea of changing the name of MCSP.

But a question arises in different aspect. In spite of my all efforts MCSP will gain a lot of popularity. People will know about this school sooner or later. One day they will all know about MCSK. Not MCSP. In all my papers it is written as MCSP. So when I will appear myself in any competitive event I might not get any correct evaluation. That is because they might think that I have passed from any “good for nothing” type school. They will not know that once I studied in MCSK. This case is applicable for first 3 batches and few students like me. And for my friends in their SSC certificate MCSP will be written and in their HSC certificate MCSK will be written. Many may think that they passed from two different places. not only that, think about numerous number of documents in which thereis written MCSP. the loge for instance. Changing the name was a good decision no doubt but it is too late. It should have been done much much earlier.
